GA Rush Competitive Academy Program 

Ages 8-11

The hard work demonstrated by players and coaches of our Developmental Program and Pre-Academy Programs culminates into our Academy Program. Academy is for player’s ages 8-11. Georgia Rush Professional Coaches group players into appropriate skill levels. Practices are twice a week and focus on advancing technical skills. These players generally have the desire and the raw talent to play, but need further development and refinement of their skills. This program is a great transition step, for players and parents, from Pre-Academy to Select level of play.

While good soccer skills are important, players are not selected based on skill alone. At tryouts, we are looking for the players who have a good attitude and the desire to play at a competitive level. If the player has been involved with the GA Rush Youth Developmental or Pre-Academy Programs, we know that this player has the training to become an outstanding and highly recruited champion. At this level, our experienced coaches continue to teach first-class soccer skills, stress physical fitness, and nurture a positive attitude for success - both on and off the field. Our ultimate goal is to create complete players.
