Pee-Wee Academy (Ages 5 to 6)

 Georgia Rush Pee-Wee Program

Georgia Rush’s Pee-Wee program is a unique opportunity for younger players to begin to develop their soccer skills in a fun, safe, game oriented environment.  It is an eight week program which runs in conjunction with our Pre-Academy program.  Pee-Wee will help your child improve their motor skills, ball skills and self-confidence using fun-packed, small sided games.  Sessions last for 30 minutes with our professional coaches and the emphasis is very firmly on FUN!  Pee-Wee is the ideal way for U6 and U7 players to enhance the progress they are making playing Developmental soccer, and is the natural way for players to begin the transition from our Little Stars Program. Georgia Rush is leading the way in Player Development at all ages and our Pee-Wee program is no different based on our unique age appropriate training curriculum that develops players better than anywhere else while allowing them to foster a love for the game.

 The Scoop….. 

• Georgia Rush Professional Trainer for the first 30 minutes of each practice; Parent Coach for the last 30 minutes
• Practice twice a week for one hour and play in Saturday Games; Games are 3v3 format with a maximum of 6 players per team
• PRACTICE DAYS: Tuesday/Thursday
• PRACTICE TIME: 5:00PM – 6:00PM
• Practices Begin: Week of February 27, 2012
• GAMES BEGIN: Saturday, March 10th; Season Ends: Saturday, May 12th
• Grande Finale/Spring Fling is May 12th

 U7 Boys/Girls (ages 5-6), Tuesday & Thursday, $250 plus $45 uniform cost (if needed)

Research has shown that the more interest you show in your child’s activities the more interest your child will show in that activity!  Please volunteer to be a Parent Coach!  Georgia Rush offers training classes for all interested Parents in the basics of the game of soccer and will provide detailed soccer curriculum for all parents who are “uncomfortable” doing their thing.  Please consider volunteering to be a Coach so you can enjoy the nurturing a fulfillment that comes with teaching young minds to do new things.  (Advanced training and State Coaching certification are also available!)
