Georgia Rush Hires Girls Director of Coaching – Jennifer Kirby Milton, GA – Jennifer Kirby, formerly of DDYSC and LSA has been named as Girls Director of Coaching at Georgia Rush Soccer Club. Jennifer officially assumes her new role in mid-May.

We are excited to welcome Jennifer to our staff. She emerged as one of the top candidates early in the interview process as her experience, passion for the game, and commitment to player development clearly aligned with the pathway and vision set for our girls’ program. Jennifer will work closely with the Executive Director, Technical Director, and staff to swiftly become involved with the players and families of the girls’ program.

“I am extremely excited to become a part of the Rush family. With my background and experiences, I will build upon the foundation set for our girls’ program giving them a home for player development in Milton” Jennifer remarked. “The path to success starts with our commitments as a staff and continues through club culture and the efforts of our players. Together we will see growth that rivals any in metro Atlanta.”

Jennifer brings a diverse background and history that has embedded the love of the game in her. She was born in Germany, where she spent her early years as part of one of the greatest soccer cultures. She went on to become an NAIA All-American in college, before starting her coaching career at Lanier Sharks Academy (LSA) in Gainesville. While at LSA, she filled many roles while building her coaching experience to include working with the recreation program as the DOC, Assistant DOC of Goalkeeping, Boys National League teams, and as a board member. Most recently, she has worked with DDYSC and the GA Soccer ODP program. Jennifer currently has her USSF “C“ license and will be attending the USSF “B” license course in the upcoming year. “

We are extremely excited and lucky to have Jennifer join the club to lead our girls’ program. She brings passion, energy, enthusiasm, together with a love of developing players both on and off the field. Her diverse background, including the ability to run multiple programs, makes her an asset to our organization”.

Jennifer assumes her role in mid-May however, is already getting up to speed with the teams, players, and families in the buildup to her official start at the club. Please join me in welcoming Jennifer to the club!
